The Definition of a nurse according to the dictionary is a person trained to care for people who are ill or not able to care for themselves because of injury, or old age. Home health nurses provide specialized care in the patient’s home. Hospice nurses work with terminally ill or dying patients to help ensure their comfort and quality of life.
Home health and hospice nurses are caring and kind, but the nature of the work takes a special person.
At Tender Care Home Health and Hospice all of our nurses are professional, compassionate and experts in what they do. They are all special people.
Recently we had the most difficult task of selecting one of our nurses to be recognized as the “Nurse of the Year.” “Our selection this year was indeed a challenge with so many amazing candidates,” stated Garr Judd, president of Tender Care, “this year’s winner went the extra mile in meeting both the patients needs and our agency’s needs.”
We are pleased to honor Sarah Moore as the “2016 Nurse of the Year.”
